Southern Pacific's Lincoln, California Station in 1968

Back in August, 1968, Staff wanderd across this classic SP depot that was loaded with the kind of details that rarely seem to get modeled. SP's C-630's such as the #7811 seen on the extra east got farmed out as lease engines a year or two later.

Being fearless railfans, we ignored the "NO LOITERING" sign to grab these shots.

We wonder what that run of the mill Ford Falcon would be worth today.
