On this page is the set of train orders given to the head end crew of SP X2475E
on December 30, 1957. Wx4 acquired them from the collection of late
SP Engineer D. C. Hill.This was the last Southern Pacific revenue freight train
with the exception of its Mexican and narrow gauge operations. Minutiae: Immediately below
is the orders as they were stapled together after the run. When delivered, train order
#41, the "running" order that authorized the train's movement, would have been
placed last, regardless of what postion it was listed on the Clearance. An order
authorizing movement was traditionally placed last, behind the orders protecting
